FAO Now Accepting Scholarship Applications

Applications are now available for the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio’s scholarships! We’re excited to once again support the region’s students in pursuing post-secondary education.   Completed applications and all accompanying materials must be emailed to scholarships@ffao.org or postmarked by Wednesday, March 15, 2023. If mailing, please send to our office at:  Foundation for Appalachian Ohio PO Box 456 Nelsonville, OH 45764   Do you want to help students achieve their dreams through scholarships? Donate to support an existing scholarship, or contact at FAO at 740.753.1111 to discuss creating a scholarship fund that supports the community or cause you care about.

New Scholarship to FAO

The Mandy McGlumphy Social Work Scholarship was established to support the post-secondary education of students pursuing studies in the field of mental health. Eligibility Requirements & Criteria:

  • Applicants must be a graduating senior or past graduate of a school in the following counties: Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, or Washington.
  • Pursuing studies in the field of mental health, with priority to those pursuing social work or counseling.
