On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, the Eastern High School National Honor Society inducted new members in the 60th Annual NHS Induction Ceremony. National Honor Society is an exclusive group of students who not only exhibit academic excellence, but also good character, leadership, and service in their school and community. NHS officers Emma Edwards, Hope Reed, Rylee Barrett, Emma Hayes, and Zach Nelson led the ceremony to induct 17 new students into their NHS chapter. The new members include: Kasey Glaze, Laikyn Davis, Danielle Epple, Addison Well, Kayla Sellers, Sidney Dillon, Gunner Gaddis, Leah Spencer, Gavan Smith, Cooper Barnett, Braylyn Johnson, Layna Barnhart, Anita Moore, Cassium Powell, Wyatt McCune, Rylan Weeks, and Tyler Hill. We want to congratulate these new National Honor Society members on their achievement.
