At the December Eastern Local Board of Education meeting the careers of some staples in the Eastern District were celebrated. Board member Floyd Ridenour celebrated his last board meeting after more then a decade of serving on the board. Celebrating with him in her last board meeting was treasurer Lisa Ritchie who has served as treasurer for Eastern Local for over 27 years. Another staple that didn't get to attend the meeting, but will be missed is Custodian Patricia Barber with recently retired after serving the district for over 24 years.
This group will be sorely missed and we can't thank them enough, but we are excited for them to get to enjoy their next chapter.
