Eastern Local was proud to be a part of the 1st annual Meigs County Back to School Bash held at the Meigs County Fair Grounds. There were many agencies and organizations working together to help students and families with school supplies and resources to help them have a successful year. Eastern Local was excited to be a part of the event and see some Eastern students excited to get back to school. There was free food, free ice cream, free games, and bounce houses, as well as free school supplies, backpacks, shoes and school spirit wear. We are planning to make this an annual event so please watch in the spring for paperwork and notifications we will send out again to get students registered for the free supplies.
