Eastern Local sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade TAG students recently competed in the Junior Model United Nations Southeastern Ohio Conference in Athens on Monday, March 9. Our students proudly represented Eastern and demonstrated outstanding leadership and teamwork throughout the event.
The seventh- and eighth-grade teams earned the Outstanding Nations Award and won their debate unanimously, showcasing their preparation and strong communication skills. In addition, Zoey Cranston served as an officer during the conference, presiding over a council room and helping guide the discussions.
All participating students displayed impressive commitment, leadership, and dedication during both the preparation process and the competition. We are proud of the way they represented Eastern and the effort they put into this experience.
