You may be eligible to receive the KIBBLE scholarship if you attend any of the following:
The Ohio State University, Ohio University, University of Rio Grande, Marietta College, Hocking College, Washington State College of Ohio.
Requirements:
Graduate: Meigs County High School or Alexander High School
College or University: Scholarships are only available to undergraduate students pursuing an associate degree or a four-year bachelor's degree.
Need to Economic Assistance: Must demonstrate financial need as defined by Trustee; must submit FAFSA EFC document.
GPA: Must be at least a 2.0 or higher.
Full-Time Status: Must maintain full-time enrollment status (12 credits minimum).
Renewal: a student may be given the scholarship until he or she attends 200 quarter hours or 133 semester hours, unless the bachelor's degree requires more than that.
Eligibility: The scholarship is granted to the school of your choice and is not transferrable to any other school. If you transfer during the academic school year, then you will forfeit the remaining portion of the scholarship for that school year and unused money will remain in the Foundation resources. If you transfer to another College or University, you can update an application for the next school year.
Awards: The Kibble Foundation Scholarship Committee will make final selection of recipients and disbursement of scholarship awards. An award in past years is not a guarantee of an award in future years. Award amounts will be based on funds available in the current year.
