
On Thursday, May 14, Eastern High School held its annual Senior Awards Ceremony. In total, members of the Class of 2026 were awarded $193,102 in scholarship funds. Additionally, 11 seniors have already secured employment commitments directly following graduation. Students also earned 41 industry credentials across a variety of career fields, demonstrating Eastern’s continued commitment to career readiness and workforce preparation.






On Sunday, May 17, Eastern High School held its annual Graduation Ceremony. The Class of 2026 worked tremendously hard to reach this milestone and represented Eastern with pride and professionalism throughout the ceremony.




The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Class Vice President Lily Simpson, followed by the invocation given by Class Chaplain Mason Baker. Class President, Maddy Karr delivered the Welcome Address, and Class Treasurer Cheyenne White introduced the speakers, administration, and members of the Board of Education.


The Salutatorian Address was presented by Emmy Lance, followed by the Valedictorian Address delivered by Derrick Barnes. The Turning of the Tassel ceremony was led by the class officers, while the Eastern Alma Mater was performed by the EHS Concert Band.
