DARE

Eastern Local School District's sixth-grade students recently completed the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program.

Throughout the eight-week course, students learned valuable life skills, including how to resist peer pressure, make positive decisions, and avoid drugs and alcohol. The program equips students with strategies they can use to make healthy choices both now and in the future.

Students celebrated their successful completion of the program with a graduation party. A special thank you goes out to Loyalty is Forever and Sheriff Scott Fitch for their generous donation of food and drinks for the celebration.

We would also like to thank Deputy Joe Barnhart for his dedication to our students and for leading this important program. Congratulations to all of our sixth-grade D.A.R.E. graduates!
