On Thursday, October 15, 2026, the Eastern National Honor Society inducted 18 new members. This group is tied for the second largest induction group for National Honor Society in school history. The total number of Juniors and Seniors representing the National Honor Society this year sets a new school record for NHS membership at 31 students. Mr. Thompson stated in his speech on Thursday, “While this is certainly a wonderful testimony to the quality of students here at Eastern High School, I believe it is an even greater declaration of the amazing families we have that make up our school district and communities.” We want to congratulate the new members of the Eastern High School Chapter of the National Honor Society: Nicole Nottingham, Makenna Rankin, Olivia Simpson, Braelyn Simpson, Peyton Bailey, Aedre Ault, Braxton Yonker, Peyton Richmond, Cody Stewart, Isabella Wilcoxen, Isabella Morrison, Clay Buckley, Lilly White, Zoey Cranston, Grace Frith, Gabby Lind, Sadi Haught, and Kinslie Wells! All of these students demonstrate the pillars of National Honor Society which are Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. We look forward to seeing what all of the National Honor Society students will accomplish the rest of this school year! Congratulations!
