The Esports team competed in an invitational tournament at Rio Grande University. Several schools from the South-Eastern region attended the tournament. Eastern won two of the four games played. They took first place in the Marvel Rivals and Rocket League competitions. The team looks forward to growing and competing again next school year.

The Eastern Local Drama Club will be putting on a murder mystery dinner theater on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. This event is open to the public and tickets are available for purchase. All details are on the poster attached to this post. Please come out and support our drama club and our wonderful drama students!
Registration is now open for the 2026 Pioneer Basketball Camps at Marietta College, led by Head Coach Andy Bucheit and his staff.
Two camp options are available:
Boys Resident/Day Camp (Grades 6–10)
June 14–17
Includes overnight or day options with instruction from college and high school coaches, along with games, skill development, and team competition.
Boys & Girls Day Camp (Grades 2–5)
June 29–July 1
Focuses on fundamentals, skill development, and game play in a structured and competitive environment.
Camp highlights include small group instruction, speed and agility training, and access to Marietta College’s facilities. Campers will work with experienced coaches and players while developing their skills in a positive environment.

The TVC, and District Champion Eastern High School Volleyball team will be hosting its Little Eagles Volleyball Camp June 17–19 at Eastern High School for students entering 2nd–8th grade.
Camp Times:
• 2nd–5th Grade: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• 6th–8th Grade: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Cost: $35 per camper
Participants will have the opportunity to build skills, learn the game, and work with Eastern High School players and coaches.
Be sure to pre-register by May 22 to receive a free camp t-shirt.

This is a reminder that the Meigs County Schools Food Pantry will be open this Thursday, April 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., or until supplies run out.
Meigs County families with school-aged children are welcome to drive through beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Meigs Local Administrative Office Building on Pomeroy Pike.
