Tuesday 10/22: Varsity Volleyball District Semifinal vs. Miller @ Southeastern High School (7:30pm)
Saturday 10/26: Cross Country Regional Meet @ Pickerington North High School, Varsity Football vs. Southern @ Home (7:00pm) (Senior Night)

At todays District Cross Country meet at Rio Grande Connor Nolan placed 2nd running a 15:41. Jase McCray finished with a personal best time of 24:41. Go Eagles!

Winter Sports Schedules


The monthly, drive through food distribution will take place today at the Meigs Local Administrative office building (formerly Salisbury Elem.) at 41765 Pomeroy Pike in Pomeroy. We will have fresh produce from the Meigs Farmer's Market. First come, first served from 4:30-6:00PM or until supplies run out.

Wesley Sheppard has been selected as the Eastern Junior-Senior High School Student of the Month for October. Wesley is constantly going out of his way each and every day to make the world a better place and always lends a hand to anyone in need. From volunteering to help move desks and tables to modeling exemplary Eagle Pride at all times, we couldn't think of a better student to start the year of with recognizing. Wesley received a $25 Walmart Gift Card. Keep up the terrific work young man!


The Lady Eagles win tonight and advance to the District Semifinal game. They will play Miller at Southeastern High School on Tuesday 10/22 at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased at ohsaa.org/tickets

TREATS ON THE TRAIL--On Friday, November 1st we will have our annual Treats on the Trail event. Again this year, students are welcome to bring their costumes to dress up for the afternoon. No weapons or inappropriate costumes/props will be allowed.
Teachers will communicate with their grade levels the location of each grade level treat station. The school will have signs up for each grade level location along the trail. We are asking that parents stay outside with the stations. We have about 460 students in Pre-K through 6th grade . Stations will need to be set up and ready to begin by 11:30am. A PTO volunteer will be outside that morning to help everyone find the assigned locations.
If parents are picking up their children after the event, please remember to send in a note to help expedite the process.

The Eastern Junior class is hosting a youth basketball tournament. Please see the attached information.


Kona Ice will be here at Eastern for 7-12 students tomorrow during lunch. Interested students 7-12 may purchase cones at this time.

Eastern Bus numbers 20,5,23,and 25 Will run an alternative routing schedule this evening. Drop off times for the evening will vary. Your patience in this matter is greatly appreciated.

On Friday our juniors and seniors spent the day at Washington County Career Center for their Manufacturing In Action Event. Students were able to explore careers in manufacturing, participate in hands-on activities, and talk with local businesses about job opportunities in our area.











This Sunday, October 6th the junior class will begin working on the homecoming float. We will meet at the garage behind the baseball field at 2:00 pm.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know. We will be having our 1st parents meeting on 17th October at 6 pm in the archery building. If you haven't had a chance to sign up your archer still stop by and we will get them signed up. I hope everyone is doing well with the Fall Raffle! Just a reminder, all money helps keep costs off of parents for equipment. If you need more tickets please let me know. Also, all tickets are do back 1st November.
