TREATS ON THE TRAIL--On Friday, November 1st we will have our annual Treats on the Trail event. Again this year, students are welcome to bring their costumes to dress up for the afternoon. No weapons or inappropriate costumes/props will be allowed. Teachers will communicate with their grade levels the location of each grade level treat station. The school will have signs up for each grade level location along the trail. We are asking that parents stay outside with the stations. We have about 460 students in Pre-K through 6th grade . Stations will need to be set up and ready to begin by 11:30am. A PTO volunteer will be outside that morning to help everyone find the assigned locations. If parents are picking up their children after the event, please remember to send in a note to help expedite the process. Below will be the schedule for "treating": Schedule: 11:30 – Preschool 11:50 – 6th Grade 12:00 – 5th Grade 12:20 – 3rd Grade 12:30 – 4th Grade 12:40 – 2nd Grade 12:50- 1st Grade 1:00 – Kindergarten

Attendance Matters! Attendance is an important focus for Eastern Elementary this year. If we want students to grow and learn, then we need students to be at school. Missing school adds up to lost instructional time. Missing a day of school here and there may not seem like much, but it adds up! Attendance + Instruction=Learning
