Senior Spotlight
Connor Nolan is a member of the Track and Field team. Connor has been running for 4 years and has earned 4 varsity letters. He is also a member of the cross country team in the fall and indoor track team in the winter. Connor is a 3x State Qualifier, 2x All-Ohio recipient, and 2x National Qualifier. Connor says his greatest memory is breaking the TVC record in the 1600m at the TVC meet with a time of 4:19.
Prom this year is April 26th at the Rankin Barn on Lovers Lane. Walk through starts at 7 pm and the dance from 8-10 pm.
It is very important that all family members wanting to watch the walk through be parked and at the barn no later than 6:30 pm. There will be attendants showing you where to park and shuttles to take you from your parking spot over to the barn.
There is also NO SMOKING on the property!

Rohwan Gilmore is a senior baseball player. He has been playing baseball for 4 years and has earned 4 varsity letters. He is also a member of National Honors Society and the football team in the fall. Rohwan says his greatest memory is winning the district championship last year.

2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten screening and registration will be held on Thursday, May 1 st and
Friday, May 2 nd from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. All children to be enrolled should
be screened and registered at this time. Please call to schedule an appointment
at (740) 985-3304.
Children being enrolled for Kindergarten in the Eastern Local School District must
turn five years old on or before August 1, 2025.
On the day of screening and registration, the child must be present and
accompanied by his or her parent/legal guardian. The parent/legal guardian
will need to produce verification of residency, identification, the child’s legal
registered birth certificate (not the hospital birth record), up to date immunization
record and, if applicable, custody documents.
Acceptable documents for verification of residency are: (in the name of the
parent/legal guardian)
Utility receipt
Property tax document
Real estate contract
Rental lease
Driver’s license with current address
Academic State Testing will begin on Monday April 14th and will continue through April 28th for students grades 7-11. Tested Subjects Include: Grades 7/8 Math, 7/8 English, 8th Science, Freshmen Algebra I, Sophomore English 10, American History, Biology, Geometry, and Junior Government. Please remind students to bring their chromebooks charged and ready to go each day during this time. Also, all sophomores wishing to attend Meigs Career Technical School next school year need to turn in their forms tomorrow. Thank you!
