This is an update about morning drop-off. Between 7:30 and 7:45 all cars will enter through the southern entrance in front of the elementary. Cars dropping off K–3 should stay to the right and pull forward as far as they can in front of the elementary before letting their student out. Cars dropping off grades 7–12 should stay to the left as they pull in and drop off along the new high school sidewalk, while cars dropping off grades 4–6 should drive behind the building and use the back entrance. Please only let students out in one of these designated areas. When exiting, all cars will loop around the student parking lot. Cars heading south toward Chester should use the left lane, and cars heading north toward Tuppers Plains should use the right lane. Preschool drop off should not enter the parking lot until after 7:45. Pick-up in the afternoon will remain the same as last year. We believe this system will keep traffic moving with fewer delays. Thank you for your patience as we try this new system to try to make mornings safer and quicker. If you have any questions please reach out to us. Nick Dettwiller Superintendent Eastern Local

As we gear up for school next week we wanted to make sure everyone knew we are able to offer free breakfast and lunch for all students at Eastern Local again this year. We lost a huge portion of the funding for this program because of some changes in the state budget, but we are excited to say we will still be able to offer free breakfast and lunch to all our students this year.

With Fall sports just around the corner we are excited to share our new athletic pass packages as well as our sponsorship opportunities. One of our biggest goals this year was to ensure all our students got into all athletic events free with an accompanying adult. We hope you will help support our athletic department and keep up the strong tradition of support for our student athletes. If you have any questions on sponsorships or to purchase passes please reach out Brock Stewart our Athletic Director at bstewart@easternlocal.net or call at 740-985-3329 .

Eastern Local is always looking for strong community partners to help with many different aspects of school including Coaching, PTO work, and day to day volunteer work with students. If you are able and have interest in helping at the school reach out to the school office. All volunteers would need a background check and board approval prior to working with students. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering to go through the process to get your sub license. This opens even more doors to get involved at school and be a part of the Eastern Eagle Family. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Fall Sports are back in action this week. Go Eagles!
