Eastern High School would like to thank Tech Mobile, along with all of our community and business partners who came out today for an excellent STEM Career Learning Collaboration Event. Students in grades 9-12 were able to rotate through and complete various simulations involving drones, robotics, welding, and more. These learning activities are hands on, and relate directly to in demand local employment opportunities across the area. A special thanks goes out to AEP, DPC, OU, Rio Grande, Washington State, Kraton, Vitruvian, ODOT, CTEC, and SCMF for attending and supporting our students. Let us help you find your E today!

The practice schedules for the K-6 basketball league at Eastern are listed below. Practices will start for everyone the week of November 3rd. This will be the schedule until Jr. High games start, then some changes may need to be made. We will post updates on the Eastern Local website. All money for entry fees not yet paid needs to be turned in at the first practice or preferably before. If money is an issue please reach out to us, something can be arranged so every student who wants to participate can. Eastern High School would like to thank Jarid Bates, Training Director from IBEW local 972 for coming in to speak with students regarding their apprenticeship program, competitive wages and benefits, and excellent commutable working opportunities. Graduating students wishing to apply for the apprenticeship program are to follow the instructions given today and reach out to him with any questions. This week Eastern Junior-Senior High School has some wonderful career learning opportunities for our students. Tomorrow Jarid Bates, Apprenticeship Coordinator from IBEW Local 972 will be here at 11am to speak with high school students about their electrician apprenticeship program, and graduating seniors will also receive application instructions. This will be from 11-11:30 in the high school cafeteria. On Wednesday October 29th, Tech Mobile will be on campus for a STEM Business Partner Career Collaboration Event for students grades 9-12. We have 9 business partners attending now! freshman will be pulled to the gym for the event at 8:43, sophomores at 9:26, juniors at 10:09, and seniors at 10:52. Off campus students taking CTE/CCP programs and are highly encouraged to be present at both of these events due to amazing workforce opportunities and connections that can be made from attending.

Stage seats for Basketball are now available to purchase. Seats will be reserved on a first come-first serve basis and will be $75/seat. To purchase a seat contact the Athletic Director, Brock Stewart, via email or call. If your call is not picked up, please leave a voicemail.
