Eastern students and families are encouraged to check out the 21st Annual Job Fair hosted by Area 14 and OhioMeansJobs on Thursday, June 12 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Athens Community Center.
With more than 70 employers attending, this is a great opportunity for students and graduates to explore careers, make connections, and continue Finding Their E through employment opportunities right here in our region.

Eastern is looking to bring back a Color Guard for the first time in several years. Any students in grades 7–12 interested in participating should attend with a parent or guardian.

Eastern Senior Awards Will be Thursday, May 14th at 9am. All seniors are to report to the gym by 7:45am. Doors will open for families and spectators at 8:30am.
Additional specific information from our previous senior class meeting regarding Senior Awards, Practice, and the Graduation Ceremony have been shared through ROOMS via the Eastern App to all senior students and families and emailed to seniors directly as well.
Graduation will be at 2pm, on Sunday, May 17th with doors opening at 1:15.
Junior High Awards will be on May 20th at 1pm in the HS Gym.

Music Performance-
Tomorrow, May 5th is our Music Performance for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. We are super excited to hear our students sing! Please remember that students are to wear read, white, or blue to school tomorrow for the performance. The performance for families will be at 1:00p.m. If you are planning on checking your child out following the performance, please notify your teacher so that the teacher can have your child ready. Families will need to sign out students in the office tomorrow following the musical performance and then the office will call the classrooms for students to be dismissed.
Awards Day for the K-6 Building will be on May 20th. We would love for our families to be part of our Awards Day where we will honor students and all of their achievements this school year. The times are listed below:

Athletics schedule for 5/3-9
A mobile lung screening unit will be in Meigs County on Thursday, May 28 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Meigs County Health Department in Pomeroy.
Screenings are available by appointment for individuals ages 50–77 who currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years and have a history of smoking.
